Fever Dream
Greetings of intimate evenings through glass LCDs
Two loveless, confused, and starving hearts yearning for a mutual understanding
‘Friendship’ is a misnomer for their chaotic, reposeful affair
What feels so sickening feels the most gratifying
The temptation, feeling like a human void when they are not together, ever-so lurid
And when wandering irises meet and he unveils her smile; she cares like a dying star
Metanoias looming when he appears in her dreams yet nonexistent in reality
She ran her fingers through his hair while he played with her feelings
He must have left his conscience on the bed
Lost in reveries of supercuts from yesterday, and the night before
He dozes off in her neck; he thinks about his former lover
She lets obliviousness hum her to sleep; she will love him forever
Nightmarish love story; he paints her as the heartbreaker
Everything has been untrue
He was ill, and she was dreaming; they must wake up soon
