My Litany

Your name is a prayer I would never say
    because it is far too auspicious,
        heavy commitment and
            it is raw with authenticity to be told;

Hence, you transform into a thought,
    forever in my brain, 
        never to my lips.

I have kept it inside my head for too long,
    and it has reached my heart.

Now you are my sanctuary,
    promise you my all-encompassing devotion,
        and pray only for you.
