The Realization
From the first crunch of the school leaf toward me,
I reconciled with the soul I once lost.
Your eyes held my eyes; they comforted one another.
I had to search if my heart was still there
or if you have taken it already.
For days, we spoke, but the mind you own
Always fled to somewhere/someone far I couldn't reach
So I reached for your hands instead.
Every time that sugar-coated mouth said goodnight,
I would force myself to shut my eyes
and it was you who I would see.
Since then, wooden chairs and crosswalks told us
to be together, stick together,
From that leaf crunch, I realized;
You made the world stop
So mine could revolve around you.
I could not breathe;
My lungs miss your cologne
and the sensation of breathing with you.
It is then only I realized,
I led you to someone you have always liked.
