Teens
Windy days slipped away like "I miss you" on tongues
Teens watching trees sway whilst their phones rung
Searching for an anechoic place, isolated from rue
Heinous confessions turn hearts into statues
Party hats in birthday parties, but there is nothing worth celebrating
When you feel your bones weaken & your heart breaking,
The change of hairstyles for dilemmas they cannot mend
With the life they have yet to begin, wishing for its merciful end
Tears becoming debris; they cut off one another,
They delete the photos; it is history forever
Yes, they have fun, and to new people they get acquainted
Though it is still the same night, wishing it was not how it ended;
Now they pour their heart out whenever the sky is raining;
Congratulations, dear reader, you are still worth saving
